I use it, but I still can not re add my shoutcast station in to it. Or rather, my station is their, but it will not play because 1. my dyndns has changed, and 2. my ip has changed.

Hi.
Klango is an accessible application that lets you connect with the klango network. It is self voicing.
With klango you can do a lot of things such as play local files on your computer, play podcasts online, you can have your own blog, you can read and write in the forums, you can create groups, and much more.
Also from the klango software you can download additional programs such as audio games, a twitter client, a chat program, a wikipedia brouser, an amazon brouser and much more.
And all is compleetely free.
So try it and i am sure you will like it.
Also klango is translated in a variety of languages so if English is not your language klango might be translated in your language or it might be in the near future. For example i am in the prossess of translating it in to Greek at the moment.

I have now upgraded to Klango 3 and I love it. The only problem that I seem to have is that the audio that it plays is way louder than the self voicing application so It's hard to hear what you're doing if you're listening to something on Klango and doing something else in another application. Does anyone know how to control the volume in Klango? Or is there such a thing as being able to control it? Your help is much appreciated. thanks.

F5 and F6 control the volume of klango.

When you hold the shift key and use F5 and F6 you control the media player that's included with klango, while ctrl F5 and ctrl F6 control the volume of the audio theme.

Klango 3 is a separate program as it is still in beta. I had to go download it from klango.net. It does not install over your current version of klango. It installs in a directory called klango 3 and will show an icon for klango 3 on the desktop.

yay, klango, dies, I love K3, KP2, was good, but this is better, you get to customize your waiting sound, so u can use a local file on your comp, you can set your intro text, you can put on a status, so, yeah!!

i am just starting to use klango, it isn't bad really but have a few questions
first of all is there a way to turn off the self voicing feature so i can use my eloquence instead of the hardly understandable italian voice of e-speak?
also how do i create my status? tried to read it in the frequently asked questions but when i press enter on that question, it seems like there's some text it should read but doesn't.
one last ting, what's the difference between klango 3 and klango dx mode that's in the klango3 directory?
that's all i guess lol

Press and hold down the control key, then tap F9 to get in to the status field. When you're done typing, press enter to change it. much easier than fiddling around with menus. I don't know about using Eloquence, but you can go in and change to a different voice other than e-speak. as for what DX mode is, I have no idea.

oh thanks i'll try that
i know there are different voices but they're the sapi voices, and they're in english. the only italian voice is e-speak, and just eww

klango 3 is the default, XD has to do with soundcards, I don't mess with that.
